Marketing Manager, Commercial Banking

POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager is empowered to manage and implement multiple marketing initiatives for a defined line of business and/or area of specialization. Working with the Director of Marketing and Sr Marketing Managers this role relies on a high degree of influence, judgement and specialized marketing skills to create and implement impactful solutions that align with the company's growth objectives and strategic plans. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Advertising, Master's Degree a plus 5 to 7 years' demonstrated experience in financial services marketing Broad knowledge of financial services industry, processes, strategies and products with direct experience developing and managing integrated sales and marketing acquisition, onboarding and cross-sell campaigns Ability to think strategically and be willing to roll up your sleeves and work through details to ensure successful plan execution Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel, including senior management to ensure strategic alignment Excellent project management skills - strong attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through Superior written and oral communications skills Excellent interpersonal, influence and negotiation skills Strong Marketing communication and positioning skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products May require travel throughout the First Midwest Bank franchise DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages implementation of marketing strategy by ensuring all activities are aligned with and executed in accordance with the Marketing team's strategic plan, and translates marketing strategy into tactical objectives and priorities. Coordinates with peers across the organization as well as  internal studio and outside resources to identify, secure, and align needed resources and buy-in to effectively implement and manage approved programs Serves as a key member of the Marketing team, leveraging expert-level specialized marketing skills to drive key plan outcomes Analyze competitive market research and product intelligence to maximize the effectiveness of the bank's offerings Actively monitors performance of marketing programs and recommends well vetted improvements to manager and key stakeholders. Understands and effectively manages legal/compliance approval processes. Manages and delivers other projects and duties as assigned. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
