We are seeking a seasonal Warehouse Associate to assist in all warehouse operations, with the potential to join our full-time staff that operates year-round! We're on a mission to significantly improve the future lives of students every school year.
Essential Functions:
Assist Lab Assembly Order associates in processing incoming orders.
Pick and assemble lab kits with the use of a RF handheld device.
Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellence in picking and assembling, 100% accurate.
Verify product accuracy and quantity against order documentation.
Inspect and ensure the quality of assembled products.
Report any defects or issues with product components.
Prepare orders for packaging and shipping with correct product and shipping labels.
Keep assembly workstations organized and well-maintained.
Assist in periodic cleaning of the warehouse to assure a neat workspace.
Monitor and report low stock levels to warehouse supervisors.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
NON-
Essential Functions:
Attend all required training and staff meetings.
Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards customers, visitors, and co-workers.
Adhere to all policies and procedures of Paxton/Patterson.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move objects up to a specified weight limit as seen below Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a plus.
