is seeking an Accounting Associate with solid general office skills to process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits in a casual office environment.
Essential Functions:
Enter accounts payable invoices, process expense reports, cut checks and post ACH and online payments.
Code documents according to company procedures Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and record lockbox transactions.
Assist with monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards and other balance sheet accounts as needed.
Assist with processing weekly payroll checks, making tax deposits and other payroll related payments.
Various administrative tasks such as processing documents, faxing, filing and data entry.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not mandatory Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing Accounts Payable/Receivables.
Strong multi-tasking skills.
Experience recording transactions in job-costing software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Must have solid general office skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook email) Strong data entry and reconciliation capabilities WinTeam experience is a plus Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
