How can you Unearth the Possibilities with Nufarm? Based in Alsip, IL Nufarm is looking to engage a motivated Inventory Clerk responsible for accurate material receiving and shipping, cycle count data entry, maintaining documents and files.
The Inventory Clerk will check in and communicate with the transportation drivers to specific doors and providing HazMat placards, when necessary, accept deliveries, schedule all pickup/delivery appointments, answer incoming phone calls and emails for the site.
Success will be determined through accurate material inventory and KPI scorecard achievement and strong inter-department relationships.
What will you be doing? Create all daily Receiver Logs, Receiver Sheets, operator check-ins, answer all incoming phone calls, send EOD log to teams, communicate with ILB and monitor and correspond to all emails for IL7.
Greet visitors and check in all drivers.
Assign drivers to specific doors and other operational instructions.
Confirm if outbound loads are HazMat and offer placards to drivers.
Schedule all pickup and delivery appointments for the site including creating PROs for LTLs Tracking all inbound and outbound shipment documentation Processing all export documentation along with maintaining all necessary files/photos for air and cargo shipments Prepare parcel labels.
Print daily cycle count sheets and entry of the cycle counts.
Consolidation of all pick tickets, accurate and timely completion of receiving and shipping transactions in Oracle as materials are received or shipped.
Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary.
Work with Transportation to ensure coordination of stock transfers.
Backup other warehouse team roles when needed.
Month end transactions and tasks Partner with Materials team on Inventory management within the site (cycle counts, audits, physical inventories, enhance controls) Provide analysis, insight and predictive measures into Warehouse performance and business impact.
What do you bring? Nufarm is looking for an Inventory Clerk with two years or more administrative and clerical support experience.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and MS Office.
Supply chain experience in other disciplines such as Transportation, Inventory Management, and/or Customer Service is a plus.
