We are seeking a skilled Pressman to join our team.
As a Pressman, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 2-color and 4-color printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay, health insurance, and paid vacation.
Duties:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce print materials - Cutting, folding, light bindery as needed to complete projects.
- Monitor and adjust ink levels, color registration, and other variables to ensure consistent print quality - Perform routine maintenance on printing presses, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts - Collaborate with pre-press/supervisor to ensure accurate reproduction of designs - Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and resolve any issues Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pressman or similar role - Experience on Heidelberg SM52 and/or QM46 (Printmaster 46) a plus but not mandatory - Strong knowledge of press operations and printing techniques - Attention to detail and ability to perform precise adjustments for optimal print quality - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot press issues effectively We offer competitive pay based on experience.
